I went with my wife to buy a new Ninja 250. I thought it was a good price at $2999.00 and a good starter bike. But the sales guy came back with a quote of over $4300.00. It included Tax, Tag, Title, and destination fees.
I want to know if there are any dealers that don't do this? Or can a bike be bought online to avoid such outrageuos fees? Or is this just normal?|||dealers seldom sell at msrp. just have to keep trying different dealers,
till the price comes into a range you can afford, or drop back a yr or two.....|||That is WAY too much. I bought one tonight and out the door was 3203 (or 02 -not sure as I don't pick it up till Tues). So yes not all dealers do this. I know my dealer and they told me they couldn't cut it too much because it's basically a loss leader. They have always been honest with me in the past so I have no reason to doubt them. Sounds like your dealer is trying to make up for that low profit margin. Keep shopping! I am in the Gulf Coast area if that helps.. Good luck!|||Look around for a used one.
You can usually find a year - 3 year old model for thousand + less money. And you might even get some spares with it.|||if your married you need a 600 the 250 for children
