Is kawasaki ninja 250r a good motorcycle for long travels?

I am wondering if kawasaki ninja 250r will be a good motorcycle for a trip of let's say 5000 Km?|||I rode my old ninja 250 from Texas to Pennsylvania and back at least 5 times. It can handle the trip and will do just fine. This was about a 1,600 mile trip each way going 70 to 80mph most of the way. You won't be as comfortable as you would be on a big cruiser with a windshield though.|||Those are fantastic motorcycles but if you plan on riding over 250 miles a day you will probably be wishing you had a more comortable seating position.

For instance, the Yamaha Vstar line makes a great 250 that would be much more comfortable for a long day, a bit light, and not as fast as the Ninja but you will be more comfortable on it.|||i would say it wouldn't as you would be constantly riding and probably wouldn't be able to cruse along like you would on a bigger bike as you will be constantly changing gears and working to keep the bike going well as with a bigger bike you will e able to use torque more making it abit easier for the the long trip.|||It'll be fine.

You would do it better on something a bit more upright, like a ninja 650, but the 250 is good too.

You wont have to change gear lots, just stick in top gear and cruise along, enjoy corners and bends.

It's much more fun to travel on a sportsbike than a cruiser.|||I would say yeah it probably is cause it is a pretty comfortable riding position.|||It's do-able, but the high revs will make it feel pretty frantic.|||how far each day... how many days traveling...

what sort of speeds..

65MPH.. 10 hour days.. minus rest stops, food, fuel.. 500 miles a day..

so 10 days later your done...
