Which is better.. Kawasaki Ninja motorcycles or Yamaha?

There is no answer to this question, it depends on the two individual bikes you are comparing. The big four Japanese manufacturers are in intense competition and their bikes are all very very close in performance, durability and technical specs. Rider skill will make far more difference in any head-to-head comparison. Production racing, in which the bikes raced are basically the bikes you buy, show how equal it all is: Yamaha might win in Europe, Suzuki and America and Kawasaki in Australia- the winner is the team with the best riders, the most skilled at adjusting the bike for the particular race.

In MotoGP, whoch uses one-off bikes, Yamaha won the championship last year, and Kawasaki and potentially Suzuki have all but given up this year.

Personally I like Yamahas because their 5-valve head design gives a good spread of peak power, but this difference is hardly noticeable any more (it was in the late 80s and early 90s).

Kawasakis are definitely the greenest of the two.|||It all depends which model your compairing.

The smallest Kawasaki, the Ninja 250, no one else really can compete with that bike.

When you move up the scale in power to above 1000cc's Yamaha has the best bike, between these two bike types.

Most will say the Suzuki is the best choice for all applications.|||Hmmm totaly depends on what Motor Size range your looking at, Kawasaki's are awsome bikes, they boast the only bike to actualy compare to the Susuki Hayabusa. Yamaha make great bikes, ZR1 is a beast, but because there both Japanese bikes there both similar, but if your looking at them you should also considere Honda (the best) or Susuki.|||Suzuki! Has always! tore a new one in every bit of the competition. I'm talking gsxr750 slingshot. Go buy that bike. It's the safest too. It's the one. It was built right. The tires that come on it alone are this wide! You don't want to ride around with some pizza cutters on it. The suspension... the whole thing.|||I had a Suzuki and will NEVER buy another. Right now I have a Yamaha and it is a good bike, but my heart belongs to Kawasaki.|||Yamaha is better, more reliable and cheaper to repair and maintain

Kawasaki and Suzuki are less cost, cheaper made, more generic, parts and repairs are much more expensive|||Mechanically, both bike companies are about the same. It all comes down to which you find more comfortable and which you think looks better.
