2009 Kawasaki ninja 250 motorcycles and the carbuerators that they use?

i used to own a 2007 ninja 500 motorcycle that took a while to warm up until i could put it into 2nd gear. i am considering buying a 2009 kawasaki ninja 250 motorcycle for my g/f. this question is for ppl that own these bikes. do you notice on cold mornings that these bikes take a while to warm up and/or put them into gear. im just wondering if the carbuerator problem has been fixed to any degree with the ninja motorcycles. i own a 2009 ninja 650 that is fuel injected and these bikes you can just start up and go right away.|||Any motorcycle with carburetors will act like that. I have a 99 Kawasaki Concours 1000cc with 4 carburetors and I can't just start it and drive away.

I start with full choke, go to 75% choke as soon as it's running smoothly, then after a minute or so while I put my helmet and gloves on, go down to 50% choke and drive away. I'll go to 25% choke after about 2 minutes and then shut it off after 2 more minutes.|||The 250 %26amp; 500 Ninjas are very "cold blooded"

As are most 1 %26amp; 2 cylinder engines.

They take a long time to reach operating temperatures.

Start the bike using the choke.

When the engine will accept throttle without stalling, start riding.

Turn the choke off in increments until it is no longer needed.

An engine will warm up twice as fast by riding the bike, rather than just sitting still idling.|||Try raising the needles a notch up or use shims if not adjustable. This might help.
